Chicken and the Wolf Branding

Branding for Chicken and The Wolf

CHICKEN AND THE WOLF BRANDING

When we were approached to rebrand the best hot chicken spot in Tulsa, Oklahoma we were already salivating. We rarely work on brands from our hometown and working on a brand that is one of your favorite lunch spots is a bonus.

Founded by Philip and Danielle Philips the restaurant launched in 2018 in a food hall called Mother Road Market. The couple was working to launch it’s first brick and mortar location as well as an additional food hall spot and felt this was the perfect time to rebrand. While the previous brand served them well, they had very few assets beyond a color palette and a logo. They wanted a full visual identity that was loud, fun and a tad abrasive. We served up just that, a fully plated brand armed with it’s own font, an arsenal of assets, the freedom to break branding with fun merchandise and even a skate team. The giant neon sign that now adorns their home location on Route 66 is one of our career highlights.

Real vs Render. Shout out to our friends at Hoffer Waska for guiding us through our first massive sign AND the City of Tulsa for offering grants to put neon signage on Route 66.
